As a short-term rental manager/owner at Seabrook Island you now have access to SymLiv's guest access management system! This system will help streamline the process of registering your rental units, inviting guests, and registering their vehicles. To get started, review the process below and continue on to the next lesson as we guide you through your new guest management system.
1. Sign up for SymLiv's host portal to get started. This can be found at https://resident.symliv.com/sipoa/create-account
2. Register your rental units with the POA: The first step is to register your rental units with the Property Owner's Association (POA) and receive approval for short-term rentals.
3. Invite guests via email or SMS: Using SymLiv's system, you can easily invite your guests to register for access to the community. Simply enter their phone number and/or email and the system will send them an invitation to register.
4. Pay for passes: As the rental manager, you will be responsible for paying for your guests' passes. This is done at the time of invitation.
5. Guests receive a link to register their vehicle data and complete community orientation: When your guests receive their invitation, they will be prompted to register their vehicle information and complete a brief community orientation on the rules of the community. This will help ensure a smooth entry process when they arrive.
6. Guests use their QR code to receive a printed pass: After finishing their registration and orientation, the guests receive a QR code via email that is then scanned at the Seabrook Island pass office upon arrival. The guest receives a printed pass to place on their vehicle dashboard.
